A new month is upon us.
This summer has been quite interesting for me. I’ve had the chance to do some traveling, I played softball, I did some geocaching, and – professionally – I’ve had the chance to get some projects done.
But the fall is coming, that’s for sure. There have been some (thankfully) cooler nights, but the days have remained warmer. There are still plenty of things to do outside, that’s for sure.
One thing I’ve noticed, however, is my lack of blogging this summer. The whole year, for that matter, has been slower than the past few. I can attribute that to a few things – work being a big one. The first part of the year was a tense time at work, so I didn’t often think about writing or blogging when I got home. Then when the spring and summer hit, I got into doing many other things.
So, I want to do some catch up.
With my birthday falling in September, I figured it would be a good time to get back into the swing of things. My plan for the month is to have a new post every day. These posts could be a baseball park review (I have many to catch up on), photo related, about travel (I have several I want to write about Seattle and the northwest), geocaching etc.
Needless to say, I have a whole heap of ideas – I just need to get them written.
So that’s the plan. Do some blogging. Get out and read some other blogs. Get involved again. I miss that community, so I need to make sure I keep active in it.
As September rolls around, how has your summer been? Do anything awesome? Has the weather taken a toll on your blogging practices, too?
I still can’t believe it is September, though. Where the heck did the summer go?
