Have any of you heard about this?
The basis of this is to take a photo every day for a year to document your life. Though some people start on different days, I think it would be better to start at the beginning of a month, year etc.
After doing a little research after hearing about this on the Podcacher Podcast, I am going to get in on this one starting January 1. So, for the year 2010, I will take a photo every day. Whether it be with my Digital SLR, point-and-shoot or the camera on my phone, I am going to make a conscious effort to take at least one photo per day.
I’ll be keeping all of mine together in a set on my Flickr.
At the same time, I am also going to attempt to do the 12 of 12 each month in 2010.
But come January, I’m going to see if I can get rolling with these two photo projects. That should also mean that I’ll be able to keep my photo blog updated a bit more as I’ve slacked over the past several months on that front.
I’d love to hear if anyone else does either of these challenges or if they are interested in doing it in 2010. Maybe I could make a Flickr group for HooHaa visitors and we could all see everyone else’s work etc.
We have time, though, which is nice.
I don’t mind the idea of a journal — that is kind of what this blog is for me to an extent. But to have a daily photo will be pretty cool. Maybe I’ll even give a weekly post on here showing all the shots from the week.
Let me know if you’ll be attempting this project. It seems like a lot of fun!
