Vibrant.
I had so many ideas for this month’s theme. So many.
With the winter we had, and the spring we had been having — I thought I’d get all sorts of vibrant colors and things like that. Alas, Mother Nature kept rearing her head, so … well, I had to think differently.
It’s been warm, it’s been cold, it’s rained, it’s snowed… sheesh! Where’s the vibrant?
Well, according to dictionary.com, there are several definitions of vibrant:
adjective 4. pulsating with vigor and energy:
the vibrant life of a large city.5. vigorous; energetic; vital:
a vibrant personality.6. exciting; stimulating; lively:
vibrant colors; a vibrant performance.
noun 8. Phonetics. a vibrant sound.
As you can see, there are a lot of ways to interpret this theme in the literal way — but there are other ways, too. I look forward to seeing how others have interpreted the theme! But that’s just blabbing for the sake of blabbing. So, maybe I should just move along and get with it already.
Anyway, it’s time to get into it. My selections are below. Remember to link up at the bottom and visit others and hopefully comment!
1. Great play
The collective sound of a crowd on an amazing play is definitely vibrant. Though this was an opposing team, this play drew gasps from the crowd as he made the diving grab.
2. Smile
Yes, Cameron has a vibrant smile. Oh yeah, baseball is his favorite sport!
3. Trail markers
If you are out hiking around on trails and such, you must notice trail markers. Though I know sometimes the coloring can be dull, usually the signs and markers are more vibrant so they are easier to see, kind of like the ones on a new set of trails in my area.
4. Spring
Spring can definitely bring some vibrant life, and I did get the chance to see some of it in bloom!
5. Mascots
Mascots always seem to be quite vibrant, don’t they? In color, in their actions and everything else!
There are my five and I look forward to seeing what others had this month!

Great job!
I love that we both ended up with baseball in our images for this month, but in different ways.

Reality is baseball will often end up in my photos if I can get it in there!
Love the “Great Play” photo! The lines of both the player and his shadow add at lot of interest along with the ball mid-air.
Thanks! It’s always nice to grab those action shots!
I saw this challenge at the beginning of April and thought it sounded pretty good, so decided to give it a go. Everyone has great photos and it’s interesting seeing the different spins on the theme. Looking forward to the next one! 🙂
Glad that you found us! Hope to see you in many more down the line!
Sorry I was a few days late linking up! I posted on Friday but forgot to add my link! Anyways, love your choices for the theme! My favorite is the bright yellow signs! Looking forward to seeing what next months theme is!

Late is better than never! 😉
As I was writing my May post this morning I realized I hadn’t made the rounds of the April posts. I guess I’d better follow the “better late than never” saying and get to it.
I had so much fun with the theme of Vibrant and it looks like you did, too. That first baseball shot is fantastic. And I smiled when I was the trail signs. They are so cheery!

I’m pretty sure I didn’t visit everybody from April, either. Trying to catch up on that AND May!
